Do Follow Movements

free21cineplex is taking part in the “You Comment – I Follow” movement, also known as the Do Follow movement.

The movement is, if you post a comment on free21cineplex and post the link to your website/blog, you will receive some of the so called “link love” or “link juice”. As a blogger, or website owner in general, you want content or links pointing to your site/blog. Links to your site is one of the major ways to increase your Google ranking or for the matter for most search engines. That’s why in the blogosphere, link love is high currency.

Back in 2005, Google created the NoFollow Tag to be inserted into all links that need not be followed by the Google bot. The links that were immediately designated to default to “No Follow” in a blog post were the links in the comment and the trackbacks. It was done because a lot of spammers, specially those promoting their medical subscriptions were abusing the public sites like blogs to game the search engines. But the strategy did not work, as spammers did not rest. It did not stop spam comments or spam registrations.

Now that with the Do Follow movement that started in 2007, we can remove the nofollow attribute from links in comments and backlinks in our blogs. There are plugins to accomplish the same as listed here.

free21cineplex menjadi bagian dari aksi gerakan “Kamu Komentar - Saya Ikuti”, juga dikenal sebagai gerakan Do Follow.

Artinya adalah, jika kamu memberikan komentar pada free21cineplex dan memberikan link atau tautan website/blog kamu, kamu akan menerima apa yang biasa disebut "link cinta" atau "jus link". Sebagai seorang blogger, atau pemilik website pada umumnya, yang kamu inginkan pastilah adanya konten atau link yang merujuk pada situs/blog kamu. Link yang merujuk ke situs kamu adalah salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan Peringkat Google atau Google Ranking ataupun pada mesin pencari lainnya. Itulah sebabnya mengapa di dunia blogging, link cinta menjadi hal yang sangat berarti.

Di tahun 2005, Google membuat tag "NoFollow" yang disisipkan di semua link yang tidak perlu diikuti oleh Google bot. Link yang dibuat secara default untuk tidak diikuti adalah link komentar postingan sebuah blog dan trackback. Hal ini dilakukan karena banyaknya spammer yang menjamur. Tapi strategi tersebut tidak berhasil, karena spammer tidaklah berhenti dari tindakannya.

Sekarang karena gerakan DoFollow yang dimulai tahun 2007, kita bisa menghilangkan atribut nofollow dari link dalam komentar dan backlink pada blog kita. Terdapat plugins untuk hal tersebut di sini.
